FAPPR
The Forum of Professional Farmers and Processors from Romania (Forumul APPR) is a non-governmental, independent, professional association that brings together Romanian farmers and agri-food processors. Its mission is to represent the interests of its members, support sustainable agriculture, and promote innovation and professional development in the sector. Forumul APPR serves as a platform for dialogue between farmers, processors, researchers, and policymakers at both national and European levels.
ICDPP
The Research and Development Institute for Plant Protection (ICDPP) is a public research institution operating under the coordination of the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences "Gheorghe Ionescu-Șișești". With a tradition of over 60 years, it is the only institution in Romania exclusively specialized in plant protection. The institute plays a key role in developing national strategies in this field and actively contributes to national and sectoral programs for research, development, and innovation in sustainable agriculture.

Its activity focuses on integrated pest management, technologies for food chain safety, pollution reduction, biological plant protection methods, rapid diagnosis of harmful agents, GIS/GPS-based databases, ecotoxicological studies, and alignment with national and European strategies in the field of plant protection.
SCDA Turda
The Agricultural Research and Development Station (SCDA) Turda is a public institution with over 65 years of experience in the field of crop plant breeding. Located in the heart of Transylvania, in an agricultural area representative of this region of the country, SCDA Turda provides farmers in the area and neighboring regions with high-quality and high-performance seed material for major crops, along with technical and crop management solutions that are scientifically and practically validated. Through its achievements—rooted in the professional competence, rigor, and integrity of its research team—SCDA Turda has earned a reputation recognized both nationally and internationally, thus contributing to the performance of Romanian agriculture.
USAMV Bucharest
USAMV Bucharest is one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Romania. With a tradition of 173 years, the university offers an excellent academic environment and outstanding career opportunities. Currently, 12,000 students are enrolled across seven faculties, each dedicated to professional training in fields essential for sustainable societal development – the Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty of Horticulture, the Faculty of Animal Production Engineering and Management, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the Faculty of Land Reclamation and Environmental Engineering, the Faculty of Biotechnologies, and the Faculty of Management and Rural Development.

The "Ion Ionescu de la Brad" University of Life Sciences in IaÈ™i is a prestigious higher education institution with a long-standing tradition, specialized in the fields of agronomy, engineering and management in agriculture and rural development, horticulture, food product engineering, agricultural biotechnologies, environmental engineering, animal science, biology, and veterinary medicine. Recognized at both national and European levels, the university’s primary mission is to train specialists and leaders in essential fields that support the sustainable development of society.

USV Iași is structured into four faculties: the Faculty of Agriculture; the Faculty of Horticulture; the Faculty of Engineering in Animal and Food Resources; and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
